Man due in court in relation to recent tiger kidnapping

A 23-year-old man is to appear in court today in connection with a tiger kidnapping in Dublin last Tuesday.

A bank official was abducted from his house in Kiltipper in Tallaght and forced to take a sum of money from the AIB in Crumlin. He was told to hand it over to an armed gang near the Red Cow Roundabout and later released.

Three men were later arrested and part of the €200,000 which had been stolen was recovered.

This morning a 23-year-old will appear before Tallaght District Court.
