Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident in Dublin which left a 24-year-old man seriously injured.

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident in Dublin which left a 24-year-old man seriously injured.

The man was walking along Main Street in Blanchardstown when he was hit by a car at around 3.20am today.

He was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where his condition was described as serious.
