Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the discovery of bomb components at a car park in the Tallaght area of the city yesterday evening.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the discovery of bomb components at a car park in the Tallaght area of the city yesterday evening.

Bomb disposal experts were called to the scene after the material was discovered in the car park of a pub on the Greenhills Road.

The disassembled components could reportedly have made up to 20 pipe-bombs.

The find comes amid a major upsurge in the use of pipe-bombs as part of feuds between gangland criminals in Dublin.
