Relatives of people killed by the IRA using Libyan-supplied weapons have held a meeting in London with officials from the British Prime Minister's office and the British Foreign Office.

Yesterday, Gordon Brown confirmed that his officials would help the relatives pursue compensation claims against Libya.

His spokesman says today's 45-minute meeting was positive.

Libya has already said it will resist any demands for compensation over IRA attacks carried out with weapons supplied by the north African country.
