Gillette has said it is to realign its razor blade manufacturing, packaging and warehouse operations in Europe and Russia.
This is to be part of an effort to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
The reorganisation - expected to be completed by 2007 - is to include the closure of a manufacturing centre and a packaging and distribution centre in Britain to a new facility.
Production of Gillette's popular Sensor at its Berlin factory will be transferred to the new facility.
Details of the costs, which are expected to be incurred over several years, and any impacts on its workforce have not yet been disclosed.
