A man in his 20s is fighting for his life in hospital following a double stabbing in Cork last night.

A man in his 20s is fighting for his life in hospital following a double stabbing in Cork last night.

The victims, aged 20 and 25, were found injured in the Inishmore area of Ballincollig.

Both were rushed to Cork University Hospital, where one is in a critical condition this morning.

The other is in a stable condition.

Gardaí have recovered a knife and have sealed off two crime scenes for a technical examination.
