The Green Party's candidate in Co Louth is organising a free bus service for students travelling from Dublin so they can vote in Thursday's election.

Councillor Mark Deery is accusing the Taoiseach of deliberately holding a midweek election to prevent young people from casting their votes.

He says those who avail of his free bus service are simply being given an opportunity to vote and are not under any obligation to vote for the Green Party.
