Jack P. Shepherd, who plays the famous David Platt - has admitted to only watching his own Coronation Street scenes.
The 27-year-old actor - who has children Nyla and Reuben with partner Lauren Shippey - can't understand why he has never been nominated for a comedy award for his portrayal of villainous character because he thinks he's hilarious.
He said: "If I'm nominated [for an award], I want to win. If I'm not nominated, I want to know why. I wasn't nominated for best comedy performance…
"I am funny. I only watch my scenes at home. I know what's coming and laugh at myself. I go to my girlfriend, 'Watch, watch, watch.' And nothing."
In last nights Corrie, David got a black cab to the train station and got another taxi from Liverpool train station to his hotel #Boring

Jack has been at the forefront of a number of gripping storylines on the soap, and though his dream plot would involve David becoming a murderer, he doesn't want there to be any aftermath.
He told heat magazine: "I would like to be a serial killer, but only for one episode that isn't advertised.
"I'd like to be sat playing my PlayStation, then go out, find someone random, strangle them and then go back home and unpause my game and carry on.
"No one ever finds out, no storyline, nothing. I think that would be really good."
Been at Corrie 15 years today, I was 12 when I started. Which means I've been David Platt, longer than I was Jack Shepherd.
