Dublin to host festival of debates and lectures

A unique festival of debates and lectures about an eclectic range of topics is due to take place in Dublin next week.

A unique festival of debates and lectures about an eclectic range of topics is due to take place in Dublin next week.

The Old City, New Dreams event will include talks on poverty, racism, the Abbey theatre and the meaning of being a Dubliner.

Speakers range from young comedians to aid workers and veteran politicians.

The festival takes place at a restored mansion on St Stephen's Green from Monday to Friday.
