Cork referee Alan Kelly left Bohs hopping mad as he gave Rovers a controversial penalty which ultimately won this Dublin derby.

Steven Gough swept home the 51st minute spot kick after Simon Webb was harshly judged to have tripped Shane Robinson.

Rovers started well and Jason McGuinness headed them in front on 18 minutes from Keith Doyle’s long cross.

Glen Crowe got Bohs level in first half stoppage time. Fittingly hitting his 100th league goal against Bohs’ arch-rivals, he tapped in Bobby Ryan’s corner at the back post.
