A Norwegian delegation is in Dublin today to discuss its opposition to Sellafield with the Irish Government.

Minister of State, Joe Jacob, is briefing the Scandinavian Parliamentarians on Ireland’s legal challenges against the Nuclear facility.

The meeting with the 14-strong Norwegian delegation is a follow-up from the discussions between Jacob and the Norwegian Environment Minister, Borge Brenda, last month.

Norway is currently considering whether to challenge the Nuclear plant through the courts and is watching Ireland’s progress with interest.
