Scotland Yard review throws up new leads in Madeleine McCann case

Police in England say they have new leads in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, who vanished in Portugal in 2007.

A Scotland Yard review of the case has revealed a list of several people, described as "persons of interest".

However, former Detective Jacqui Hames said not all the people on the list will be suspects.

She said: "That could be somebody who is implicated perhaps in her abduction or it could be somebody who just happened to be staying at the same hotel who hasn't yet been interviewed and may or may not have something interesting to say."
