Mayo man being questioned by Gardaí after drug seizure

A 51-year-old man is still being questioned by gardaí in Mayo in connection with a drug seizure in Ballina.

A 51-year-old man is still being questioned by gardaí in Mayo in connection with a drug seizure in Ballina.

Ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis resin, with an estimated street value of €150,000, was uncovered during a planned search of a house.

Drug paraphernalia was also seized as well as almost €3000.

Gardaí say the seizure was the result of an ongoing operation.
