Gardaí arrest three in organised crime crackdown

Three people have been arrested following a major Garda operation targetting organised crime in Dublin this morning.

Three people have been arrested following a major Garda operation targetting organised crime in Dublin this morning.

More than 100 Gardaí were involved, from the North Central Division and the Special Detective Unit.

The operation saw a number of properties in the north of the city, as well as the north inner city searched earlier today.

Two men aged 54 and 46, and a woman aged 55 have been arrested.

They are being held at Store Street, the Bridewell and Whitehall Garda stations for questioning.

A number of rounds of ammunition and an estimated €500 worth of cocaine have also been seized.
