The White House has confirmed that Barack Obama will visit Belfast before next month's G8 Summit.

The White House has confirmed that Barack Obama will visit Belfast before next month's G8 Summit.

In a statement, the White House said that the President will "engage with the people of Northern Ireland" and highlight the hard work, dialogue, and institutional development they have undertaken together.

Mr Obama will then travel with Prime Minister David Cameron to Lough Erne in Co Fermanagh - for the Summit of the leaders of the world's most powerful nations.
