Beauty from Gibraltar named Miss World
Leggy brunette Kaiane Aldorino, from Gibraltar, has been named as the new Miss World.
Aldorino was crowned at a glittering two-hour pageant in Johannesburg today.
The event saw silver confetti rain down on the stage and she clapped her hands to her mouth when her name was announced.
Aldorino said she “had no words” to describe how she felt at her win, but that she was “really happy.”
She was a crowd favourite and won the swimsuit competition, although the loudest cheers were kept for hometown beauty Miss South Africa, Tatum Keshwar. Keshwar was the second runner up.
The first runner up was Miss Mexico, Perla Beltran Acosta.
