Lucey was the only driver to post a time faster than two minutes on the first of the three timed runs as

Richard Percy, Gordon Percy and Richard Davis filled the top four places.

Gordon Percy moved into second for a brief tenure but a puncture on the third and final run saw him slip to third.

Second spot was secured by Richard Percy, who also claimed the series lead - albeit by two points.

Lucey, with his best time on the last run, can clinch the title if he overturns the deficit by finishing ahead of his rival.

Today’s class winners included JJ Lehane, John Shanahan, JJ Carroll, Mark Murphy, Richard Percy and Gordon Percy.

Shanahan was the top saloon driver and the only driver apart from those piloting Specials to record a time under two minutes.
