Anti-war protests in 14 towns and cities

Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets today in 14 different towns and cities for anti-war protests.

Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets today in 14 different towns and cities for anti-war protests.

Marches are due to be held in Dublin, Galway, Mullingar and Westport amongst other places.

The protests coincide with international woman's day.

Politicians such as Labour's Kathleen Lynch are urging protestors to show their strength and turn out in numbers nationwide.
