Trimble, Blair hold talks at Downing Street
UUP leader, David Trimble, is today meeting with Tony Blair for talks in Downing Street just 24 hours after Sinn Fein MP’s took up their new offices in the House of Commons.
Top of the list for discussion is sure to be the arrival of Gerry Adams and the other Sinn Fein MP’s at their new offices in Westminster yesterday.
Conservatives are furious that the ban on using Commons facilities without taking an oath of loyalty to the Queen has been lifted.
