Clare are set to appeal over the suspensions imposed on four of their players over the so-called 'Semple Skirmish', while Cork are also understood to be planning to appeal.

The Rebels are now in a race against time to have three of their star players cleared.

As things stand, Donal Óg Cusack, Diarmuid O'Sullivan and Sean Óg Ó hAilpín are currently ruled out of Sunday's Munster semi-final against Waterford with four week bans.
