Farms across Ireland closed off for precautionary measures

A factory has been closed and a farm sealed off near Nenagh in Co. Tipperary as a precautionary measure.

One animal has been slaughtered. Junior Minister Noel Davern said it's unlikely the animal had caught the virus.

In Co. Kerry two cattle farms in Castleisland have been sealed off and are under observation as a precautionary measure.

Also in Co. Wexford 1,300 sheep have been slaughtered in a Co. Wexford farm today again as a precautionary measure.
