Two pedestrians have died after being hit by a truck in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, this afternoon.

Two pedestrians have died after being hit by a truck in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, this afternoon.

The accident happened on Main Street at around 4.30pm.

The two victims have not yet been named.
