Irish amateur Paul Dunne got off to the perfect start as the 144th Open Championship at St Andrews began in ideal scoring conditions.
Dunne, who came through final qualifying at Woburn, was part of the second group out on the course, Teeing off at 6.43am with Americans Todd Hamilton and James Hahn.
He made a superb start in the good conditions, and was in a share of the lead after two holes.

After 10 holes, he is joint second on the leaderboard at four under - David Lingmerth currently leads at seven under.
