George Burley insists the race for the third Champions League place has at least five runners left.
Manchester United and Arsenal are all but guaranteed their berths.
But Town's meeting with Liverpool at Portman Road has been billed as the showdown for the third Champions League qualifying spot.
Burley is adamant there are others in the hunt despite Ipswich's relatively easy run-in which includes home games against Manchester City, Coventry and Newcastle.
"One game never decides anything and there are five or six teams going for that third Champions League place - Leeds, Sunderland and Chelsea will have a lot to say about that," he said.
"Gerard Houllier has said that the Champions League is the most important thing to them.
"We know it's going to be a tough game but we couldn't be going into it in better form than we are showing at the moment."
The 3-0 win at Southampton last Monday was arguably Town's best display of a flourishing campaign and unlike Houllier, who has bemoaned his side's heavy scheduling around Easter, Burley refuses to accept that players who are winning games get tired.
Ipswich have three games in six days compared to Liverpool's four in eight that began in Barcelona and took in a hard slog against Wycombe on Sunday.
Burley added: "It's one of those things, you have to get on with it.
"The boys have shown great consistency to be fourth in the league at the moment. We are looking lively, fresh and raring to go, really. The players are hungry to finish as high as possible."
