Tipperary All-Star hurler Brendan Cummins has pledged his services to the football code in the coming season.

Tipperary All-Star hurler Brendan Cummins has pledged his services to the football code in the coming season.

The Ardfinnan man is a huge addition to the squad and his is expected to be available for Sunday's clash with Waterford in the McGrath Cup at Dungarvan.

He flies back into Ireland on Friday following a two week sojourn in the sun of South Africa with the Tipperary hurlers and is expected to be available for the game before jetting off with the All-Stars to Argentina a few days later.
