Man arrested after fatal stabbing

Gardaí were questioning a man today after man in his 30s died after a stabbing incident at a house in north Dublin.

Gardaí were questioning a man today after man in his 30s died after a stabbing incident at a house in north Dublin.

Detectives said the man was fatally wounded following a row in the front garden of a house in Coolock, in the north of the city.

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital in a critical condition at around 2am and died a number of hours later.

Detectives have arrested a man and he was being detained at Coolock garda station under section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act.

Gardaí appealed for anyone who may have been in the Clonshaugh Drive/Priorswood Church area at around midnight last night to come forward.
