Kieren Fallon will ride Briolette at Windsor today after recovering from an illness that delayed his return from America.
He was taken ill on Saturday and had to give up the ride on Ad Valorem in the Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland.
He was not allowed to return to Ireland straightaway, missing the winning ride on Septimus in the Group Two Beresford Stakes at the Curragh yesterday.
Having made a quick recovery, he got the OK to leave the States and is now back in Britain.
“Kieren flew in this morning. He’s fine again now so he might as well kick on,” said his agent Dave Pollington.
“He can get the ride back on Briolette as he’s retained by Aidan O’Brien but I think it’s too late to get any others.
“He’ll be at Leicester tomorrow, Navan on Wednesday, then at Newmarket on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.”
Darryll Holland had been expected to replace Fallon on Briolette in the feature Listed EBF Harvest Stakes at the Berkshire track.
