Firth's lake moment on 'Pride and Prejudice' tops poll of memorable TV moments
Colin Firth has taken top honours in a poll of the most memorable moment in British TV drama.
It was for his 1995 appearance as Mr Darcy, emerging dripping wet from a lake in 'Pride And Prejudice'.
The scene beat a Christmas Day edition of 'EastEnders' from 1986 when Dirty Den handed divorce papers to his wife Angie.
Third place went to the finale of BBC1's 'Sherlock' last year when the detective faked his own death.
