Paul McKee got Ireland’s European Championships campaign underway in Germany today.
McKee comfortably qualified for tomorrow’s semi-final of the 400 metres, finishing second in his heat.
McKee clocked 46.03 secs to finish behind Germany’s Ingo Schultz, silver medallist at last year’s world championships, who won in 45.79 with Wales’s Tim Benjamin in third with 46.15 secs.
