Flooding causes cancellation of fixtures

Three of tonight's Eircom League Premier games have been cancelled due to heavy rain and flooding in the eastern region.

Three of tonight's Eircom League Premier games have been cancelled due to heavy rain and flooding in the eastern region.

The affected games are the clash between Shelbourne and Derry City at Tolka Park, the meeting of St Patrick's Athletic and UCD at Richmond Park and the Bray Wanderers-Shamrock Rovers tie at the Carlisle Grounds.

The game between Drogheda United and league leaders Bohemians in O2 Park will go ahead as planned.
