Crocodile tears for hard man Fashanu
Hard man John Fashanu was reduced to tears as he filmed a new show – after trying to outstare a crocodile.
The presenter – who ended up with a string of challenges with nasty bugs on I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! – undertook the stunt for new ITV1 show Man Versus Beast.
Fash had to lie face-to-face with the potential killer as he made eye contact to see which of them could manage to go without blinking for the longest.
The former soccer star managed to go for more than a minute without moving his eyelids, but eventually tears welled up forcing him to blink.
Fash is also seen going through an elaborate routine to calm his nerves like he did on I’m A Celebrity.
Man Versus Beast, in which a number of well-known figures take on animals, will be shown later this year.
