Winter vomiting bug hits Cork University Hospital
Two wards at Cork University Hospital have been hit by the winter vomiting bug.
Visitor restrictions were put in place this afternoon to prevent the spread of the illness.
Over the past few months, the bug has severely disrupted the day to day running of many Irish hospitals, including the Mercy hospital in Cork.
