300 temporary jobs for Waterford

Waterford County Council has granted planning permission for a retail and residential complex which is expected to create 300 temporary construction jobs in the coming year.

Waterford County Council has granted planning permission for a retail and residential complex which is expected to create 300 temporary construction jobs in the coming year.

100 permanent jobs will also be created when the complex is completed next year.

Developers said the 1.3-acre complex, which includes apartments, offices and boardwalk and a bridge to the city centre, would revitalise the Railway Square area.
