Three held after man dies in Derry disturbance

A murder investigation is underway in the North after a man sustained a fatal head injury during a disturbance outside a pub in Derry last night.

A murder investigation is underway in the North after a man sustained a fatal head injury during a disturbance outside a pub in Derry last night.

The 47-year old victim died in hospital as a result of the incident which happened in the Waterside area at around 7pm.

Three people have been detained for questioning in connection with the man's death. The incident is not believed to have been sectarian.
