Four held after man shot in chest in Belfast

Four men have been arrested in the North after a man was shot in the chest on the outskirts of west Belfast.

Four men have been arrested in the North after a man was shot in the chest on the outskirts of west Belfast.

The man, 27, is in a stable condition in hospital.

He was approached by three to four masked men while walking between Dairy Farm and Twinbrook shortly after 7.30pm yesterday.

Several shots were fired as he attempted to run away. One shot hit him on the side of the chest.

Police said they were treating the incident as attempted murder. They arrested four men aged 30, 32, 38 and 38.
