beCogent, one of the UK's leading providers of outsourced contact centre services, today confirmed its plan to open a second major contact centre to extend its customer service capacity and provide a platform for significant growth over the next three years.
The new contact centre will be based in Erskine near Glasgow, and beCogent will staff the new centre with a further 700 contact centre agents who will provide outsourced multi-media contact centre services to both its new and existing customers, which include Argos, Scottish Power and Traveline Scotland - part of the national travel advice service.
This major expansion will see beCogent grow its agent capacity at its Airdrie, Stirling, Goring-on-Thames and Erskine sites to over 2,000 from its existing level of 1,300.
