With just under one week to go until Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases here in Ireland, a new international trailer has been released with a few new pieces of footage to get fans excited again.
It's tipped to be the biggest movie of all time, but it will certainly be the biggest movie of 2015 and with excitement levels going through the roof, fans are hoping that JJ Abrams, Disney and Lucasfilm deliver the goods.
The Force Awakens is due for general release on December 17 in Ireland and the UK and with that date just around the corner a new international trailer has arrived, bringing with it some exciting new scenes from the movie.
Yes, you might be thinking to yourself, the majority of the clips we have seen before and realistically, who cares?!
We're kinda glad that only teases have been given away and that we haven't actually seen too much of the film that it would spoil the whole thing.
Let's take a look at some of the newer scenes.
First up lets talk about the extended footage of the Millennium Falcon and her crew, both new and old.

In the clip Han Solo can be heard uttering the line "C'mon baby, don't let me down", speaking to his trusty ship.
This is a very nice throwback to the original trilogy where a lot of plot points rested on whether or not the Millennium Falcon was working properly.
More often than not it wasn't!
We also get more of a glance at Finn wielding a blue lightsaber against a Stormtrooper, who seems to be armed with a weapon capable of taking on the Jedi sword.

This could definitely lead to some interesting actions scenes in The Force Awakens.
Speaking of action, check out these amazing clips of X-Wing fighters taking on the Tie-Fighters of the First Order and kicking some serious butt!
Also, the end of the clip looks like pilots taking on Starkiller Base, which has a very familiar feel of the first time the Rebellion took on the Death Star and blew that thing away.

Now, let's bring you to the most heartbreaking of the new scenes from this trailer.

Leading from a space battle over an icy planet we see the Millennium Falcon making a not so comfortable landing, let's be honest, the thing crashed, and crashed hard.
Maybe this could be one of the many glitches we talked about earlier or perhaps, dare we say it, the Falcon was shot down!
We're not going to speculate but we really hope that this isn't the end of everyone's favourite space ship.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in cinemas on December 17 in Ireland and the UK and worldwide on December 18.
