Seamus Brennan is being asked to present his proposals for the deregulation of the public transport sector to the Oireachtas Committee on Transport.

Fine Gael's Denis Naughten says the Minister's proposals will fail to achieve any improvement in the existing service and may even lead to a deterioration in it.

Deputy Naughten says improving the level of service has to be the Minister's primary consideration, rather than the economic ideology of the Government.
