I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Contestants were tonight considering a host of big money offers after leaving the jungle.

Winner Kerry McFadden is tipped to make £2m (€2.9m) off the back of the show.

And other celebrities will also be quids in as advertisers and media companies fight to sign them up.

Lord Brocket has already been inundated with offers totalling more than £1m (€1.5m), according to his agent.

Last night’s final was watched by nearly 16 million viewers, a new record for a reality TV show.

A total of 15.7 million – a 62.2% share of the television audience – tuned in just after 10pm to see Kerry crowned Queen of the Jungle.

The average audience was 14.1 million, beating last year’s final and the Pop Idol record of 13.3 million.

Pop Idol had already beaten Channel 4’s Big Brother, which had 9.4 million viewers when blonde Kate Lawler clinched the prize.

The series saw audience figures of 10.4 million (42.4%) on average, compared to 9.4 million last year when Phil Tufnell won.

Overall ITV1 had a 48.4% peak time audience share last night, a record since the Royal Variety Performance in November 2001.

Meanwhile, Kerry was considering her future after being inundated with offers and being reunited with her husband, Westlife’s Bryan McFadden.

She has sold her story to a newspaper for £200,000 (€294,500) and could earn as much as £500,000 (€736,300) after being offered a deal to promote Sacla pasta sauce, according to Mediaguardian.

Jan Croxson at Princess Talent, which represents Kerry, said: “She’s had an amazing experience.

“She wanted to test herself and she’s done better than she ever imagined.

“Lots and lots of people have been telephoning. We have very exciting things to talk to Kerry about but I don’t want to say any more until then.

“We haven’t had a chance to see which of these exciting things Kerry will want to do.

“The first thing Kerry will want to do is see her kids in Ireland. She’ll be really missing them.”

Jennie Bond’s agent said the “telephone hadn’t stopped ringing” this morning since the former BBC royal reporter came second on the show.

Agent Sue Ayton said: “Cosmetics companies have been very interested – they want to know whether it was their products she was using in the jungle and whether it stayed on.

“She has had lots of different offers and it is too early to say what she will be doing.”

Lord Brocket is currently considering more than £1m (€1.5m) worth of offers, according to his agent.

They range from adverts for soap – after his efforts to soap down Alex Best’s bottom – to presenting TV shows on stately homes and becoming an after-dinner speaker.

He has also been offered a Wife Swap-type programme in which he spends a fortnight living in the Bronx.

Publishers are vying for his autobiography, which will include his time in prison and in the jungle.

The aristocrat is currently in Australia putting the finishing touches to a charity single, Jungle Rock, which he is recording with Mike Read, Neil Ruddock and Peter Andre.
