Rangers boss Alex McLeish has agreed terms on a new contract at Ibrox.
McLeish took over in December 2001 and has since won five trophies at the club.
Two cup victories came in his first six months in charge and last season he led the Gers to a Treble success.
This campaign has also started brightly for the Glasgow giants with a place in the Champions League group stage being achieved after a two-leg win over FC Copenhagen.
Rangers will now face VfB Stuttgart, Panathinaikos and, of course, a mouth-watering clash with Manchester United.
Ibrox chairman John McClelland told the club's official website: "We have shaken hands with Alex on the terms of his contract. We are just crossing the 'Ts' and dotting the 'Is' and getting all the documentation right so we should formalise things very shortly.
"It will be a week or so before we can do that. He is going to Germany with the national team next week so we are looking at doing something after he returns."
