Homes evacuated after Kilkenny gas leak
A number of residents have been evacuated from their homes following a gas leak on the outskirts of Kilkenny this morning.
Two nearby schools have also been told to shut their windows and doors following the leak on the Freshford Road, while motorists have been asked to avoid the area.
The Gardaí, the Fire Service and Bord Gais are at the scene investigating the matter.
