ISEQ performs strongly in mid-morning trading
The ISEQ is enjoying an encouraging beginning to the week, with shares climbing 18.71 to 5,321.31 at 11.45am today.
Shares in Allied Irish Bank slipped 3c today to €12.92. Bank of Ireland shares are unchanged at 10.75.
Anglo-Irish Bank shares have dropped 3c to €13.37 but Irish Life & Permanent shares have climbed slightly to €12.01, up 1c.
CRH shares have been on the rise today. Shares are up 7c to €18.27.
Pharmaceutical Elan is up 10c to €16.10. Kerry Group shares have slipped 15c to €17.34.
Shares in Ryanair have dropped 5c in mid-morning trading to €4.30.
The main movers today are Bank of Ireland, AIB, Anglo-Irish Bank, Irish Life & Permanent and Grafton.
