Terenure defeated Limerick opposition for the second week running today in Dublin.

Following their 41-3 trouncing of Old Crescent last week, today it was the turn of Garryowen.

Terenure came back from being 30 points down after just 35 mins to win this fascinating encounter at Lakelands Park through a massive second-half display.

Richard Governey kicked over 21 points, including the all-important injruy time drop-goal to yield a victory for the Dublin sice.

Garryowen stormed ahead in the first half, with tries from Paul Neville, Stephen MacKay, Killian Keane and three penalties and three conversions from Jeremy Staunton.

The away side were up 23 points at half-time.

Terenure scored only one try in the first half through Cormac Long.

In the second half they came out all guns blazing.

A try from David Coleman, and four penalties, three conversions and one drop goal from Governey saw them take Garryowen apart in the second half and claim the win.
