A further attempt to sabotage US tycoon Donald Trump's plans to build a luxury golf resort in Scotland has been made - throwing the bid into jeopardy once more.
The Apprentice star's hopes to built "the best golf course in the world" in Aberdeenshire, which would house an eight storey five-star hotel, two championship golf courses and 950 timeshare holiday apartments - has been hit by numerous setbacks, after the proposal was rejected by Aberdeenshire Council on environmental grounds.
Earlier this week Scottish first minister Alex Salmon stepped in to save the project, personally overseeing the application for the $1bn (€608m) development.
However, local farmer Michael Forbes, who refused to sell his 23 acres of land to Trump in October, "to make him angry".
Forbes insists he will not sell the property.
