High street giant Marks & Spencer has dropped plans to stop paying double time for Sunday and Bank Holiday work, following an outcry from staff.
The company said existing employees would receive double time for working on Sundays and Bank Holidays instead of plans to reduce it to time and a half.
Unions had complained about the proposal and said it had recruited hundreds of M&S workers because of their opposition while the company said it would not change its bonus payments after feedback from staff.
