Court appearance today for youth in relation to stabbing

A 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 43-year-old Thomas Farrell who was fatally stabbed in Dublin last night.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 43-year-old Thomas Farrell who was fatally stabbed in Dublin last night.

He is due before Kilmainham District Court this morning. The second youth who was arrested is still being detained at Ballyfermot.

The father of five last night approached two young men who were trying to break-into his car. He was stabbed in the back as he went back into his home in Ballyfermot.
