Welsh duo to miss Bath clash

Bath duo Gareth Cooper and Gavin Thomas will miss the Zurich Premiership home match against Saracens on Saturday after the pair were retained on Wales duty ahead of the RBS 6 Nations match against Scotland a week later.

Bath duo Gareth Cooper and Gavin Thomas will miss the Zurich Premiership home match against Saracens on Saturday after the pair were retained on Wales duty ahead of the RBS 6 Nations match against Scotland a week later.

But new Wales captain Jonathan Humphreys is available to face Saracens after stipulating he would only return to the international fold if it did not rule him out of turning out for his club.

Saracens will also be without Wales centre Tom Shanklin because of international commitments, and the injured Kevin Sorrell (fractured skull) and David Flatman (shoulder).
