Eight people are due back in court this morning charged in connection with the death of Dale Creighton in Dublin on New Year's Day.

A court has heard that the Director of Public Prosecutions is still deciding how to deal with eight people charged in connection with the death of a young man in Tallaght.

20-year-old Dale Creighton died after being attacked in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Six men and one woman have been charged with violent disorder, while another man is accused of producing a knife during the dispute.

They've all been remanded on continuing bail to appear in court again on March 12th for direction from the DPP.
