Movie superstar Tom Hanks is begging NASA to let him join their mission to the moon in 2018.
The actor played an astronaut in Apollo 13 and recently wrote and produced IMAX movie Magnificent Desolation: Walking On The Moon - and now he wants to experience space travel for real.
Hanks says: "I have just two questions: What will be the mission? And can I go?"
But NASA sources say Hanks' age and height will count against him - he'll be 62 when the mission takes place, and at six feet one inch, he's too tall to be an astronaut.
