263,000 volunteers took part in National Spring Clean

More than a quarter of million people took part in the annual An Taisce National Spring Clean, according to figures released today.

More than a quarter of million people took part in the annual An Taisce National Spring Clean, according to figures released today.

More than 263,000 volunteers participated in the annual anti-litter event, which took place in April.

The volunteers took part in 3,200 clean-up operations nationwide, an increase of six per cent on the number of clean-ups last year.
